Back to topThe purpose of Genesis is to computerize the management of consignment stock thereby reducing stock outs and providing better cost control. Because the stock is on consignment, it is not in the customers inventory management system or in the vendors either as its located in the customer’s facility so there is no real control by either party. Genesis is designed to secure the stock items which are contained in Genesis Kiosks or secure areas at the customer’s facility again controlled by Genesis. Access to Genesis Access Control system is via proximity cards or existing ID cards.

Back to topGenesis monitors the CPU temperature, fan speed of the touch screen PC and sends a status 'Heartbeat pulse' back to the main Genesis Server every 30 minutes.
